The Smart Cuff Manager byTracoe, Germany, monitors and regulates the cuff pressure of the tracheal tubes. Used in cases of intense pressure change e.g. due to persistent cough to prevent air from escaping. The pressure is kept constant between 20cm H2O and 30cm H2O. The visual verification of the correct pressure is indicated by the level of fullness of the blue inner balloon which must be inflated between 2/3 and 3/4 in relation to the outer one. It can be combined with the cuff pressure gauge to achieve the desired pressure levels immediately and easily.
